Well this morning was supposed to be a day of detailing a colleagues Fiat Grande Punto and a Skoda Fabia VRs. Well my colleague has been pushing back the time over the last couple of days as to when he'll bring them round so I said in that case just bring the one and I'll do the other another day. So we settle for 11:30am (original time was 10:00am) to do the Punto. 11:30am comes around and no sight or sound of him coming so I thought why not get mine done (granted only needed the brake dust removed from the front wheels) and give it a little spruce up. As I was rinsing the Superb off my neighbour came home in his filthy Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo. So I set off snow foaming her and attacking the wheels with Bilt Hamber Autowheels wheel cleaner and rinsing her off and washer her with Gtechniq Gwash car shampoo, she came up a treat and topped up her protection with Gyeon Wetcoat just as my colleague came down the road in his Skoda Fabia VRs (time now being 2:15pm, no call or anything to say he'd be late) so gave the Monte Carlo a quick vacuum and set about the VRs.
She was covered in so much traffic film she actually looked like a matt plum red colour until I set about her with some Bilt Hamber Surfex Degreaser by which she came up her original red straight away. Degreased, cleaned and dressed the engine bay. Snow foamed her with Bilt Hamber Autofoam then with Gtechniq Gwash car shampoo, sealed with Gyeon Wetcoat and dried. Interior vacuumed and glass cleaned. Interior plastic still need doing which will have to be another day as the sun was setting about 5:00pm (hence no finished pictures of the red VRs).
A few pictures from today while there was still some light about.
As the VRs arrived.
My baby.
The neighbours Monte Carlo.
All three together.
This is the Monte carlo from her previous wash.

All in all a pretty good Skoda day. I just wish I had the VRs a few hours earlier so I could get what I wanted doing and she needed done. Hey-ho, never mind, another time. They all came out really well.
